Please be judicious in the use of the oil. I don't want it hopping around and being used on everything, and I'd prefer if use on other characters' gear was kept to a minimum. I'm less concerned about the bottle since it requires my action in RP threads to use.

Lord Gadigan wrote: (11:58:09 PM) lordgadigan: So, you ready to start things, or do you want to wait?
(11:58:16 PM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: Ready when you are
(11:58:35 PM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: 2-1. Start in Lohm Sabakhmar. Either fly or take a skyship through a sky rift that your divination picks up leads to Dazflobar, Land of Flowers.
2-2. You're in Dazflobar, Land of Flowers. You need to locate a Gatemaker Florimastrid with pink petals with medium-and-small yellow speckles with a bluegreen stem and a purplish-red center. Destroy it to make the proper gate form for 4 hours, and go through.
2-3. You're in Yaz-Gohlan, sole city above Tikyulmarnimastiross, The Sea of Unknown Treasures. Learn how to make the sort of experimental rocket he's working on from Oswall the Crafter, build one, and paint it in the juice of Great Yellow Kelp-Pods. Take the vessel up through the Cloud Layer, past the things there into the Drifting Spaces, aiming for the red sphere that generally remains in the area above Yaz-Gohlan. This will be Gox-Uloxx, Crimson Miniworld of the Twelve-Eyed Things. Get ten Umexilon Crystals and repair the portal arch outside Nubol Cresmyr that was built by Orz Gaforian during his attempts to replicate the Nexus portal system in distant parts of the universe. Head through it.
2-4. You're in Darnel-Phai, City of the Winged Men, which lies upon the world of Erstokrys, Land of Seven Seas. While there, avoid declaring yourself as servant, agent, or mercenary to any of the God-Kings of the Fourth Age. Head out of the Province of Orben and nation of Kiryl Vane to reach the unclaimed Province of Rul-Matiik. Find the Alzarian Gate, activate it, and head through.
2-5. You're in the Reborn Court of the Flame Princess upon the Plane of Confluent Forces. Leave the court and follow the sky-tendrils of molten gold past the Rivers of Wandering Nations and to the Castle of Chained Storms. Open the mirror-door and pass through it backwards.
2-6. You're in Dross City beneath the Megametropolis of Inmil upon the world of Inmil-All within the White Spiral. Head to Reprocessing Factory Seventeen and find the Orihandrilite Cube amongst the trash. Activate it while thinking of violet-blossomed flowers.
2-7. You're in the pocket-world of Inatrii, The Only City. Without killing anyone, head to the top of The Smoking Point, eat a smoked herring each, and then walk off the side of the world.
2-8. You're in Nyemnwg-Emwghfe-Kesihwernox, also known as the drawn land (though that fails to resonate as its true name). Follow the directions of the Osmott-Curiloxes Ritual Procedure, which you should now be in possession of without immediately realizing it. They'll take you out of there to the next destination.
2-9. You're in Erzahl, Land Without Life. Move quickly to the Dust-Gray Mesa and open the door atop it, jumping through.
2-10. You're in the Fortress City of Baghstannim on the world of Omvol Ghyr. Go to the High Library's headquarters and head through the Ink-Red Door.
2-11. You're in the Outer Feylands. Head through or above Lubopdyll Forest, across the Whiteglow Sea, and into the Castle of Crawling Paintings. Find the painting of Castle Glorian. Force it to stop moving and enter it.
(11:58:36 PM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow:
2-12. You're in Castle Glorian. You will need to perform a one-on-one duel with Lord Archenfrel of Glorian, a prince of the fey. After his defeat, you should be able to set up Waypoint Two in Castle Glorian. This will be another place that you can go back to Nexus and re-launch the adventure later.
(11:58:43 PM) lordgadigan: k, starting
(11:58:45 PM) lordgadigan: You're in Nexus
(11:58:52 PM) lordgadigan: Heading to Loam Sabakhmar?

(11:59:00 PM) lordgadigan: Okay, you warp there
(11:59:02 PM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: Oh
(11:59:05 PM) lordgadigan: I don't think you need a desc?
(11:59:07 PM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: Taking that Violin along
(11:59:09 PM) lordgadigan: k
(11:59:16 PM) lordgadigan: Any other
(11:59:20 PM) lordgadigan: Last minute additions?
(11:59:22 PM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: Who knows when it'll be needed
(11:59:25 PM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: Nah, that should do it
(11:59:30 PM) lordgadigan: k
(11:59:41 PM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: I kind of recall a few other beneficial things, but this is likely fine
(11:59:50 PM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: This isn't a hardcore test-of-strength quest
(12/20/2013 12:00:21 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: We're hopping in the moonleaper and scanning for the appropriate sky rift (Lili, better than the Moonleaper at this, is doing the scanning)
(12:00:35 AM) lordgadigan: k
(12:00:40 AM) lordgadigan: Processing
(12:00:48 AM) lordgadigan: What Level, for reference, is Lili operating at right now?
(12:00:55 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: 75 atm
(12:00:58 AM) lordgadigan: k
(12:01:30 AM) lordgadigan: You easily locate one
(12:01:56 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: Headin' through
(12:02:24 AM) lordgadigan: Your ship zips between the stormclouds and sky-rifts and heads through the one that got spotted through the divination
(12:02:26 AM) lordgadigan: Typing desc
(12:04:39 AM) lordgadigan: You enter Dazflobar, Land of Flowers. The grass here is a deep, vibrant green and grows a few feet high. Around it are patches of taller grasses and many flowers, most of which tower up to around twenty feet and then bend down or curl some. Many of the flowers have multicolored or patterend stalks. Beyond the immediate area, you spot a forest of four-hundred-foot stalks, each with a great petal open towards the heavens, from which golden-white light streams down. Small insects and plant creatures with eyes in their flowers move around nearby.
(12:05:58 AM) lordgadigan: Action?
(12:06:27 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: Wide-area scanning for that gatemaker flower
(12:07:07 AM) lordgadigan: You locate it about five hundred feet Northwest past some groves of other tall flowers
(12:07:18 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: Headin' there
(12:07:23 AM) lordgadigan: You go there
(12:07:34 AM) lordgadigan: It's one of the tall flowers, and it matches the visual description
(12:08:07 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: This one have the appropriate combination of petals and speckles and stem and center?
(12:08:39 AM) lordgadigan: Yes
(12:08:49 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: Are there any others of this sort on the planet?
(12:09:28 AM) lordgadigan: An area scan (which doesn't catch the whole place, but catches an area of about a conitnent and a half) picks up two others
(12:09:34 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: Okay
(12:09:44 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: Trying to watch out for potential points of no return
(12:09:51 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: Destroying it, heading through the associated flower
(12:09:57 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: Er, portal
(12:10:48 AM) lordgadigan: A good policy
(12:10:52 AM) lordgadigan: You destroy it and head through
(12:10:56 AM) lordgadigan: Typing desc
(12:14:53 AM) lordgadigan: You find yourself in Yaz-Gohlan. It's a city of small-to-medium-sized buildings of varying sorts of construction (most looking vaguely-technical but made using scrap parts or sorta-holmely and coastal, but with a few oddball sections, like the part with all the low domes or the section with the buildings carved of pink conches. The whole city is strewn across several small islands and sandbars, with most of the connections between them made of wood, shell, or concrete bridges. Outside the city are a wide variety of ships and submersibles, and the mostly-clear-blue sea has streaks of shining golden dust in it. Ocean extends in all directions beyond the islands. High above is a thick layer of clouds, but the sky between it and the world seems to be suffused with enough Light and Hope mana that the place is bright and wouldn't seem cloudy by most means of examination.
(12:15:52 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: We need to find Oswall
(12:15:56 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: Scanning for him
(12:16:18 AM) lordgadigan: You spot him using your magic in a house on the north edge of one of the more northern islands inside his small home
(12:17:05 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: Drawing the (cloaked unless otherwise specified) Moonleaper into oneman after warping over there
(12:17:57 AM) lordgadigan: Teleported!
(12:18:13 AM) lordgadigan: The house looks like one of the tech-shack places, smaller than several of the others
(12:18:20 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: Lili actually lacks reliable other means of teleportation
(12:18:22 AM) lordgadigan: Outside are several half-finished inventions
(12:18:40 AM) lordgadigan: Looks like they're mostly spaceship or airship themed
(12:18:44 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: She can travel reasonably fast, and clown-flashstep, but isn't a movement-spec
(12:18:45 AM) lordgadigan: Lots of sphere shapes, though
(12:18:58 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: Lili ejects the moonleaper
(12:19:06 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: Teleports inside.
(12:19:12 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: "Hi!"
(12:21:19 AM) lordgadigan: Lili teleports in, completely catching Oswall, a sorta-bald old man with wild white hair bursting from the sides of his head, a large, double-trident moustache, and thick blue spectacles completely off guard. He appears to be working on another type of ship.
"OHWHATIHUHHELLO!"
*Ahem*
"I'm sorry young miss. I didn't see you come in. Are you a sea spirit?"
(12:22:07 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: "I'm a goddess. Tehe."
(12:22:35 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: "Don't mind me, though. I want to watch you build your ship. Please explain things as best you can as you work."
(12:22:40 AM) lordgadigan: His moustache ends spin as an exclamation point appears above his head. "Sky goddess or sea goddess!?"
(12:22:52 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: "Clown goddess."
(12:23:06 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: She enters Clown-Mode, does a few jovial antics
(12:23:09 AM) lordgadigan: "C...clown?" He seems confused but also doesn't want to offend you
(12:23:14 AM) lordgadigan: He does find the clownmode amusing, though
(12:23:30 AM) lordgadigan: So you're asking him to explain building the ship, right?
(12:23:35 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: Yup
(12:23:38 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: And keep building it
(12:23:50 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: Tjormod might want to come down for this too
(12:24:07 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: Lili drops hints of some sort of "reward" after he shows her what he's doing enough
(12:24:16 AM) lordgadigan: Tjormod does
(12:24:20 AM) lordgadigan: Processing the time passing
(12:30:04 AM) lordgadigan: It looks like he, despite being nervous from the sudden goddess-and-wizard-appearance, is able to finish building his rocket and you (and Tjormod) pick up the relevant construction basics from it.

Lili gets-

Basic Spaceship Construction Techniques- (Passive Ability, Engineer) Possessor's Vessel summons and transformations whose name includes 'Star', 'Space', 'Astral', or 'Rocket' obtain +50 to all stats

Oswall the Crafter's Cloud-Layer-Piercing Rocket-Construction Technique- (Passive Ability, Engineer) If possessor creates a Vessel transformation or summons a Vessel, said Vessel obtains a buff that makes effects attached to Zones of Air by sources below Level 70 unable to stop it from leaving battlespaces
(12:30:12 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: Oh man, sidenote. Tier up from Cerulium, there's a weapon for the avians
(12:30:17 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: Called the Pelican Opener
(12:30:20 AM) lordgadigan: Hahaha
(12:30:20 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: : DDD
(12:30:23 AM) lordgadigan: SWEET
(12:30:24 AM) lordgadigan: lol
(12:30:30 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: I am very pleased by this
(12:30:35 AM) lordgadigan: I am as well, haha
(12:30:57 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: Lili now mentally prompts the moonleaper to de-cloak and invites him onboard to study it
(12:31:00 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: As a reward
(12:31:53 AM) lordgadigan: He is amazed and is going to do a gaping-mouthed study-tour of it
(12:32:23 AM) lordgadigan: It is, sadly, well beyond his current skills in *many* ways, but he's still enjoying getting to look at it a lot (and hey, it may at least give him *ideas* for things he can do)
(12:32:24 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: (I don't need specifics here or anything and this is probably fine in low-detail, but she's giving him as long to study it as he taught her)
(12:34:38 AM) lordgadigan: I think we'll go with the above
(12:34:44 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: Works
(12:34:46 AM) lordgadigan: You can proceed, having assumed that he's done this
(12:34:54 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: Following that, Lili's heading to find that...
(12:35:29 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: To find Great Yellow Kelp-Pods, in order to coat (a craft which she'll have to build) with their juice
(12:35:38 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: May as well build the craft first
(12:36:05 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: She's going to scavenge for unowned materials to make this thing
(12:36:11 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: In the general area around here
(12:36:14 AM) lordgadigan: Heading to find by physically looking around or scanning?
(12:36:31 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: Probably looking-following-information-from-intuition
(12:36:34 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: aka foresight
(12:36:53 AM) lordgadigan: k
(12:36:58 AM) lordgadigan: Processing
(12:39:31 AM) lordgadigan: The sea directly below the islands is full of random junk (which'd work for pretty much all of the craft parts, those that aren't down there are in abandoned bits of town that spawn minor monsters). There's a haul of pods trapped in a ship down there, as well as several kelp forests that have them out to sea, with three about 60 miles off in different directions. Those'd be the easiest places to find unowned items. Honestly, all of the materials are in unshielded-enough places that the Moonleaper could mass-teleport all the items over (that, or Lili could zip around and gather everything in a second or so via extremespeed).
(12:40:33 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: Lili'll skip around at extremespeed, assemble the parts in front of Oswall's house, make eye contact with him (smiling), and then speed-assemble it
(12:41:10 AM) lordgadigan: Oswall is amazed, and Lili now has a rocket! Do you want this thing statted or are you going to let Oswall have it once this is over?
(12:41:38 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: I'll let oswald have it
(12:41:55 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: She's setting things up to modify the head into a clown-face after it accomplishes it's purpose
(12:42:15 AM) lordgadigan: k
(12:42:18 AM) lordgadigan: Haha, k
(12:42:30 AM) lordgadigan: By head, you mean tip of the rocket?
(12:42:36 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: Yeah
(12:42:38 AM) lordgadigan: k
(12:42:52 AM) lordgadigan: Lili gets 50k XP and has built the rocket
(12:42:54 AM) lordgadigan: And coated it
(12:42:57 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: She isn't messing with it while she's here in any way that might screw with the process
(12:43:07 AM) lordgadigan: Oswall begins exclaiming about how brilliant an idea of hers it is to coat it with those
(12:43:21 AM) lordgadigan: Since that might counteract the dissolving gases in the middle of the cloud layer
(12:43:29 AM) lordgadigan: That have eaten several of his old ship attempts
(12:43:44 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: "Tell your friends. Lili von Mion knows how to craft."
(12:43:47 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: She winks at him
(12:43:55 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: Then rockets off
(12:44:03 AM) lordgadigan: He laughs and vigorously nods
(12:44:07 AM) lordgadigan: Lili rockets off!
(12:44:40 AM) lordgadigan: Taking Tjormod and the Moonleaper inside it via onemerge?
(12:44:47 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: Indeed
(12:44:49 AM) lordgadigan: k
(12:45:18 AM) lordgadigan: You rocket up through the cloud layer (which is actually several miles thick and filled with assorted sub-sections) and into the black, drifting space above it
(12:45:37 AM) lordgadigan: In which shapes, small worlds, buildings, and creatures float amidst the void
(12:45:52 AM) lordgadigan: There's also some cities and a forest of willowy white crystal-trees atop the cloud layer
(12:46:32 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: We seek Gox-Uloxx, Crimson Miniworld of the Twelve-Eyed Things
(12:46:47 AM) lordgadigan: Seek and ye shall find!
(12:46:56 AM) lordgadigan: You spot it. It's the only big red thing directly above
(12:47:12 AM) lordgadigan: You land your craft there
(12:47:23 AM) lordgadigan: It's red and dusty with occasional gray cliffs or rocks
(12:47:48 AM) lordgadigan: There's gardens of purple vines that grow from the ground with blue fruits the size of men's torsos and leafy blue fern things
(12:48:16 AM) lordgadigan: Along with the twelve-eyed things, semi-eggplant-shaped aliens with four tendril-hands, two short legs, and the requisite twelve eyes
(12:48:28 AM) lordgadigan: Which seem to be in different places for different members of the species
(12:48:36 AM) lordgadigan: They're greeting you in their chirping language
(12:48:45 AM) lordgadigan: Which Tjormod learns and starts conversing with them in
(12:48:56 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: Lili sees if she can pick it up via brainpower
(12:49:12 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: (She also has a bit of mentalist, though not as much as Tjormod by any means)
(12:49:31 AM) lordgadigan: She can!
Lili gets 'Learned the Language of the Twelve-Eyed Things of Gox-Uloxx'
(12:49:54 AM) lordgadigan: It turns out to be reasonably simple so far as languages go
(12:50:46 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: Chirp chrip where the crystals at
(12:50:57 AM) lordgadigan: Chirp chirp they be there
(12:51:06 AM) lordgadigan: You get directions to some crystal deposits
(12:51:11 AM) lordgadigan: And are able to quickly mine the crystals
(12:51:20 AM) lordgadigan: Tjormod locates the place with a mind-scan
(12:51:24 AM) lordgadigan: And drives you to the arch
(12:51:27 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: No having to craft a tier 14 pickaxe first?
(12:51:31 AM) lordgadigan: Which is a broken arch of crystal
(12:51:32 AM) lordgadigan: Haha
(12:51:40 AM) lordgadigan: If you were closer to normal in terms of power level, maybe
(12:52:18 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: Chirp chirp this language kind of reminds me of birds
(12:52:25 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: <repair it, head through>
(12:52:31 AM) lordgadigan: Done!
(12:52:34 AM) lordgadigan: You get
(12:53:00 AM) lordgadigan: 'Repaired Orz Gaforian's Portal Arch on Gox-Uloxx, Crimson Miniworld of the Twelve-Eyed Things'
(12:53:05 AM) lordgadigan: You head through
(12:53:09 AM) lordgadigan: Timepause.
(1:08:14 AM) lordgadigan: Resuming time
(1:08:16 AM) lordgadigan: Typing desc
(1:11:26 AM) lordgadigan: You are now in Darnel-Phai, City of the Winged Men. It is a city built high into a mountainside, and it is garrisoned by a large number of winged men of various sorts, as well as some white dragons and a Sky Titan (2). You get a second view of the world in the form of a top-down map of provinces you are aware of, each marked with what information you have on it (presently little due to lack-of-scan). Movement and action timing here is odd and divided into events and turns. You're operating on the 'neutral units turn', presently. Everyone else with you is marked under you as part of your 'unit'.

You are immediately psychically contacted by Enghol Vohs, God-King of hte Winged Ones, and offered to begin negotiations of a mercenary contract.
(1:12:01 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: Sky Titan
(1:12:07 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: What level's that thing?
(1:13:18 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: <Sorry. Here on business of my own; I'm taking no contracts at this time and neither are any of those with me.>
(1:13:29 AM) lordgadigan: 55, hence the (2). Lots of stuff here is a bit lower (or higher) level than might be expected. I will note that stuff below 40 gets pulled up to 40 by the God King (other leaders also do pulling in a similar manner).
(1:13:49 AM) lordgadigan: <Understood. Know that hostilities in the capital will be reciprocated with maximum force.>
(1:14:33 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: <I won't mess up your little kingdom here, you needn't worry. I'll be on my way now.>
(1:14:39 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: Head out of the Province of Orben and nation of Kiryl Vane to reach the unclaimed Province of Rul-Matiik.
^
That's happening
(1:15:30 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: (Taking the contract make you his <potentially temporary> property?)
(1:16:10 AM) lordgadigan: He retorts with some banter countering the 'little' part of that, and you can't move till the neutral turn, but you don't get attacked or anything before then, so you're in the clear when that turn comes to mass scan areas and find the target province
(Yes, and binds you to the world until either you die or someone manages to conquer it and become the sole God King of the era)
(1:16:26 AM) lordgadigan: Warping there to avoid getting drawn into battles on the way?
(1:16:46 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: This honestly sounds like it would be a fun place to conquer
(1:17:01 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: What level's the God King?
(1:17:41 AM) lordgadigan: (Hah, it very well might be. He's Level 60, with some properties that'd probably make him a reasonably hard fight for his level (but not ultra-mega-hard).)
(1:17:59 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: Mass-Scan of the word
(1:18:01 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: World
(1:18:06 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: Who's the highest level here?
(1:19:05 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: Lili'll take a few "turns" doing this
(1:19:06 AM) lordgadigan: Three Level 70 God Kings, a Level 70 neutral devil, a Level 70 neutral astral abomination, and a Level 70 neutral dragon emperor.
(1:19:20 AM) lordgadigan: Tjormod warns you
(1:19:24 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: How many God Kings?
(1:19:35 AM) lordgadigan: You can do this all in one turn thanks to your diviner stuff
(1:19:39 AM) lordgadigan: 26
(1:19:51 AM) lordgadigan: Also, taking multiple turns will take several seasons out of this world
(1:20:02 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: Eh, probably don't want to do that
(1:20:27 AM) lordgadigan: Don't wanna accidentally Hugo-Bekklerize yourself, haha
(1:20:51 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: Ah well. Another time, perhaps.
(1:21:00 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: Lili heads to the unclaimed province
(1:21:09 AM) lordgadigan: You reach there
(1:21:19 AM) lordgadigan: Various neutrals fail to aggro because you're also neutral
(1:22:27 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: Alzarian Gate
(1:22:33 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: Think we're openin' that
(1:23:25 AM) lordgadigan: You have enough magic power
(1:23:28 AM) lordgadigan: And open the gate
(1:23:44 AM) lordgadigan: (You also have the divination necessary to discover it in the province without proccing a bunch of encounters or getting stuck there for a while)
(1:23:48 AM) lordgadigan: You head through
(1:23:50 AM) lordgadigan: Processing
(1:26:01 AM) lordgadigan: You are now in the Reborn Court of the Flame Princess upon the Plane of Confluent Forces. You currently stand in a hall with high, cathedral-like ceilings crafted of red stone, black stone, and flowing magma. Around you on the ground are great sconces containing huge flames of different colors, and the chamber has four pools of molten mystic gold in it. There are double-doors to four other areas of the court, as well as sixteen smaller single doors.
(1:26:42 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: Lili politely leaves the court
(1:26:54 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: Follows the trails of molten gold in the sky
(1:27:24 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: Castle of Chained Storms is our goal here
(1:27:42 AM) lordgadigan: Right
(1:27:47 AM) lordgadigan: Doing this minimal detail, it sounds?
(1:27:57 AM) lordgadigan: (Which is fine given the length of some of the segments otherwise)
(1:28:15 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: I think so
(1:28:25 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: The place sounds cool, but as of now it's a footnote
(1:28:26 AM) lordgadigan: k
(1:28:44 AM) lordgadigan: You head across places, the most dangerous stuff you run into are level 50-ish elementals and genie-types that you can avoid
(1:28:46 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: I was describing the general course of action and leaving the detail up to you. I'm fine with minimal for this section.
(1:28:55 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: Clown-visible
(1:28:56 AM) lordgadigan: You eventually reach the castle in question
(1:29:19 AM) lordgadigan: Which is scaled for planetaries or non-elder titans of some sort
(1:29:35 AM) lordgadigan: It is bound in chains the reign in its lightning
(1:29:38 AM) lordgadigan: And its thunder
(1:29:42 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: Nifty.
(1:29:47 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: Scan on the place
(1:29:49 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: Level?
(1:30:14 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: (General level of the area)
(1:30:29 AM) lordgadigan: At present 60-ish. You get the sense that it'd jump into the 80s if the bindings were removed.
The whole world tends to be in the 40-99 range from what you can tell
(1:30:40 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: Huh
(1:30:43 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: Who bound it?
(1:30:47 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: Just out of curiosity
(1:30:56 AM) lordgadigan: Unclear. It'd take some divining effort to get that info
(1:30:59 AM) lordgadigan: Are you spending that effort?
(1:31:08 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: Nah, may as well try to stay focused
(1:31:13 AM) lordgadigan: k
(1:31:30 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: Heading inside, casting divinitory magics towards the location of that mirror door
(1:31:51 AM) lordgadigan: You head in and manage, via your and Tjormod's combined skill, to locate it
(1:31:56 AM) lordgadigan: You also determine that the Moonleaper
(1:31:59 AM) lordgadigan: Thanks to mirror-weirdness
(1:32:02 AM) lordgadigan: Can jump right to it
(1:32:17 AM) lordgadigan: Doing so?
(1:32:23 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: Convenient. We'll do that, then head through it backwards like instructed.
(1:32:27 AM) lordgadigan: k
(1:32:29 AM) lordgadigan: You do so
(1:32:41 AM) lordgadigan: You pick up 'something weird' happening due to the backwards travel
(1:32:44 AM) lordgadigan: Processing travel
(1:35:01 AM) lordgadigan: You're now in Dross City beneath the Megametropolis of Inmil upon the world of Inmil-All within the White Spiral. Dross City is an underground city that winds around sewers and garbage pits from the city above. There's a lot of robots and mutants, and the place in general is impoverished, though more 'weird' than 'unhappy'. (The visual stylings are in the vein of Kaiba, though it doesn't have the same mind-swap memory tech or anything).
(1:35:40 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: Lili notes the visual style with interest, but stays on the task at hand
(1:35:59 AM) lordgadigan: k
(1:36:03 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: Reprocessing Factory Seventeen's our next destination
(1:36:04 AM) lordgadigan: Teleporting to the location in question?
(1:36:10 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: Indeed
(1:36:11 AM) lordgadigan: k
(1:37:13 AM) lordgadigan: You warp over there. It's a moderately large factory that sucks in sludge and robot and machine parts through two different big funnel-mouthed vaccuum tubes and then reprocesses them into various materials that are then shipped off to other places
(1:37:25 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: Orihandrilite Cube's what we're looking for.
(1:37:47 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: Lili decides to go physically walk through the place to get it, invisible
(1:37:50 AM) lordgadigan: Your scan picks it up in one of the 'to be manually sorted' pits of strange items sucked in
(1:38:05 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: Any other notable strange things?
(1:38:13 AM) lordgadigan: You walk around robots, walking suits filled with humming slime, and workers
(1:38:32 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: Notable being abnormally useful, sentient-and-with-high-potential, highly-valuable, or intelligent
(1:38:55 AM) lordgadigan: A harmonica that longs to see the sun, though it cannot speak. A lamp that inevitably reveals lack of dedication to sworn causes (in those of low enough power).
(1:39:44 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: Lili will take the harmonica
(1:39:50 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: As well as the cube
(1:40:08 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: "I promise to show you many suns."
(1:40:21 AM) lordgadigan: Lili gets
*Harmonica that Longs to See the Sun- (Accessory, Quest Item, Hope & Technology, 300 Gold) +1 SPI
She gets a positive feeling back from the harmonica
(1:40:26 AM) lordgadigan: She also gets the cube
(1:40:37 AM) lordgadigan: Which is going to be frustratingly difficult to take off-world, so I'm not statting it up
(1:40:51 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: She then gathers everyone and activates the cube whilst thinking of the aformentioned flowers

(1:41:26 AM) lordgadigan: You all vanish in a violet blip and the cube bursts into a technic-hymn-tempest of radiant light
(1:41:40 AM) lordgadigan: Processing
(1:42:38 AM) lordgadigan: You're in Inatrii, The Only City. It's a reasonably small city with a single mountain thing that spits out a plume of smoke at its top, near the center but slightly east. Off the sides of the world is shiny white emptiness. Residents seem to be human, though ones specially suited to the strange, small city.
(1:42:54 AM) lordgadigan: There's a few parks, a small wood, and some rivers around
(1:42:58 AM) lordgadigan: Also a half-lake
(1:43:29 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: Walking up the mountain, taking extreme care not to kill anything
(1:44:26 AM) lordgadigan: You reach the top. A young woman in sorta-shrine-maiden-y robes that are a bit more styalized in some ways and a bit less formal in others is up there hawking smoked herring and smoked mushrooms that she's cooking above the smoke-vent
(1:44:58 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: "I will take all your herring"
(1:45:27 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: A young girl apparently has quite the appetite
(1:45:35 AM) lordgadigan: "Oh my! All of it!?"
There's 67 herring, and they're 700 Esharr (1 eshar = 100 Gold) each. Gold physically manifested here becomes Esharr
(1:45:55 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: Lili buys All The Herring
(1:46:14 AM) lordgadigan: Asharitii Hashaki thanks you and profusely bows and applauds.
(1:46:23 AM) lordgadigan: Lili gets 'Bought All The Herring'
(1:46:31 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: And somewhat-comedically devours them (using channeling to actually give one to everything inside her; all extras going to the many faces of the Spire)
(1:46:42 AM) lordgadigan: *nods*
(1:46:45 AM) lordgadigan: Herring consumed!
(1:46:54 AM) lordgadigan: The girl is amazed and amused by the sight
(1:47:02 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: *Head sideways, mouth opens squarely and way-too-large, all herring go in"
(1:47:17 AM) lordgadigan: *Very amazed and amused
(1:47:37 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: Lili then proceeds to moonwalk (disregarding gravity) off the side of the world (from the mountaintop)
(1:47:58 AM) lordgadigan: She watches you do this, wide eyed (and several others notice too)
(1:48:05 AM) lordgadigan: And you exit off the side of the wolrd
(1:48:06 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: (I'm glad Clown gives me an excuse to make my serious-character less serious)
(1:48:07 AM) lordgadigan: *world
(1:48:16 AM) lordgadigan: (Haha)
(1:48:33 AM) lordgadigan: The world fades away brightly and falls apart as you enter the emptiness outside it
(1:48:51 AM) lordgadigan: Your divine senses sense other divine forces judging your actions and assigning you a destination
(1:49:34 AM) lordgadigan: You arrive in a mostly-white, open area with various buildings that look drawn with a variety of media off in the distance in different directions
(1:49:40 AM) lordgadigan: Everything feels a bit strange here
(1:49:58 AM) lordgadigan: And you sense a pencil almost metaphysically 'above' you
(1:50:08 AM) lordgadigan: You also note that there's something in your robe pocket
(1:50:12 AM) lordgadigan: It's a list of directions
(1:50:20 AM) lordgadigan: Placed there when you walked backwards through the door
(1:50:27 AM) lordgadigan: But slightly askew from normal reality
(1:50:44 AM) lordgadigan: The judgment process from walking off the world seems to have caused it to resolidify on the same layer as your body
(1:51:03 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: What's this Ritual require?
(1:51:26 AM) lordgadigan: It looks to be a series of motions, chants, and invocations of various magics
(1:51:40 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: <le follow>
(1:51:48 AM) lordgadigan: A drawn burst of fire made of graphite is materialized near you
(1:51:57 AM) lordgadigan: Tjormod mind-blocks it as it soars in
(1:52:02 AM) lordgadigan: He tells you to just keep up the ritual
(1:52:07 AM) lordgadigan: He'll defend with oneman
(1:52:12 AM) lordgadigan: And the ship
(1:52:39 AM) lordgadigan: As he says this, a pen's point hits the place nearby in another direction and starts drawing scythe-legged eye-faced monsters that rush in
(1:53:03 AM) lordgadigan: Something else is starting to erase the dispersed graphite fire, but the eraser shavings are flying at your group, eradicating stuff in their path
(1:53:20 AM) lordgadigan: With the moonleaper now moving Lili out of the path of eraser shavings without her breaking her general step pattern
(1:53:37 AM) lordgadigan: A walking castle with turrets is cut-pasted nearby
(1:53:41 AM) lordgadigan: And it starts moving in
(1:53:49 AM) lordgadigan: You going to focus on the ritual and let the others try to defend?
(1:54:14 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: Lili will trust in her allies and just focus on the ritual
(1:55:42 AM) lordgadigan: k
(1:55:48 AM) lordgadigan: Processing Tjormod's efforts
(1:55:51 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: If there's a point where she can manage it without breaking the general pattern (which she has already memorized, having seen it once), she will mass-summon in marionettes
(1:55:59 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: That all look like hre
(1:56:07 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: And mimic her every action
(1:56:21 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: If Tjormod starts to lose or something, all bets are off
(1:59:01 AM) lordgadigan: Tjormod actually does rather spectacularly in coordinating the defense, picks up a new ability in the process, and manages to let you perform the ritual unharmed. You also avoided attracting the attention of some of the higher-off drawing-entity-presences that were above the Level 60-ish zone.
Ritual complete. Ka-gated!
(1:59:25 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: Excellent
(2:03:35 AM) lordgadigan: You're in Erzahl, Land Without Life. The plain in front of you is a bleak, dusty black with ashen clouds. Your Max HP is now in freefall.
<Break>
<Unbreak>
(2:17:19 AM) lordgadigan: What're you doing?
(2:17:28 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: Shifting to Large Structure
(2:17:31 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: Subtype
(2:17:36 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: Tha help with the Max HP thing?
(2:17:53 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: I think the Moonleaper also has specific shielding against this sort of thing
(2:17:56 AM) lordgadigan: Haha, what
(2:18:01 AM) lordgadigan: Large Structure?
(2:18:02 AM) lordgadigan: How?
(2:18:11 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: "Land Without Life"
(2:18:18 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: *Spire of Crawling Faces
(2:18:25 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: No life here suckers
(2:18:33 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: Gotta think outside the box
(2:19:09 AM) lordgadigan: The Moonleaper does have shielding. It isn't strong enough. This place is rather nasty.
The Large Structure shift is helping, but the land is still grinding on your composite self, as the world detects a spirit and soul in there.
(2:20:10 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: Cloak Self In Mystery?
(2:20:29 AM) lordgadigan: Helps more. The Max HP decline is now rather slow
(2:21:18 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: That likely didn't take too long
(2:21:26 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: Dust-Gray Mesa < Heading there via teleport
(2:21:37 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: Leaving a less-cloaked clown-double behind
(2:21:45 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: Clown-castle-double?
(2:21:46 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: I dunno
(2:21:50 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: Leaving something behind
(2:21:53 AM) lordgadigan: You successfully teleport, despite the world trying to actively block your re-appearance
(2:22:09 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: (This is why I went with level 75)
(2:22:19 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: Get through that door with all haste
(2:22:32 AM) lordgadigan: (I will say that this whole trip is possible at 59)
(2:22:43 AM) lordgadigan: You get through that door and exit this reasonably-awful place
(2:22:50 AM) lordgadigan: Processing
(2:23:36 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: (Possible, but a fair bit harder, longer, and more risky. Why make two trips? I can challenge myself at the level of power I've got.)
(2:23:52 AM) lordgadigan: You're in the Fortress City of Baghstannim on the world of Omvol Ghyr. The city is surrounded by multi-mile-high walls and is filled with a mix of medieval buildings and towering, elaborate structures. I can provide more detail if needed, but I figure an overview works initially.
(2:25:00 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: Sounds good
(2:25:27 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: Anything stand out as the High Library?
(2:26:20 AM) lordgadigan: It's one of the larger buildings, with a column-faced front, an overall fooprint of about a square mile, and a huge tower that goes about 3/4ths of the way up the wall-height in the middle. There's a symbol of an open book above the grand entryway.
(2:26:40 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: Heading there, then, at a leasurely walking pace.
(2:26:49 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: (I assume the HP-debuff sticks?)
(2:28:49 AM) lordgadigan: It's actually (thanks to your overall power) slowly going away as you remain away from the world
(2:29:00 AM) lordgadigan: It'll take a couple weeks to wear fully via natural recovery, though
(2:29:09 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: That's okay
(2:29:10 AM) lordgadigan: Are you invisible on the way there?
(2:29:13 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: No
(2:29:20 AM) lordgadigan: What do you look like?
(2:30:42 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: Haha, you want the post?
(2:30:46 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: You wrote it
(2:31:41 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: Lili is about four feet tall, and looks like a small, cute kid of about 10 with long, brown hair tied up into four spherical globes. Her face is obscured by an ominous metallic skull-mask painted with white clown makeup and red blush on the cheeks and solid-red eyepieces; only her hair and neck protrude from it. Atop the mask is perched a dignified top hat with a gray ribbon tied around it. Her nails are just-a-tad-bit-too-long. The rest of her body has relatively soft features, though when she gets angry she tends to look a lot more daemonic, with her hands growing full-on claws and the eye-pieces of the mask glowing red and burning. Her flesh, though usually a pale tone, can assume any color and pattern to blend with nearby surroundings. She wears an officious-looking robe of netherworld fabrics (the weaving of which would make most planetaries jealous), its collar clasped with a symbol depicting a heaven of candies and sweets and a hell of fleshless bodies impaled on pillars of iron sitting on a scale balanced atop a clawed fingertip; the robe never is dirtied, and it contains numerous interior pockets full of assorted puppets and stuffed toys. It is also capable of deploying thousands of directable puppet strings from its sleeves, each made of fine white soulcord. In it's center is a small door that seems to promise something significant beyond it but lacks a handle or other visible means of opening it. From her back extend two small, bat-like wings that exist on a plane of thought, invisible to normal sight. Her left hand burns with a blue fire that sears the mind when looked at. Her right hand holds a silvery-metal great-maul with a head the size of a small car, though carried around it is generally the size of a small gavel. The head is decorated with patterns of interlocking gears. From her shoulders comes a golden cloak made of a material that inspires awe in nearly all who see it, leaves of gold weaving as the trim around its border. On her feet are a pair of hard-to-see gray clown shoes that constantly expel an information-obscuring fog, leaving memory-dulling fog-banks in the girl's wake as she winks about from place to place. Daemonic runes flicker into existence around her, declaring her mastery over the school of magic, focusing her power, and dismissing undesired summoned beings near her. Palpable divine power radiates from her when she wishes such. She gives off a vibe that fluctuates between ominous-world-murderer and subtly-creepy-but-happy clown girl; that mask, though, it's unnerving. Only those she wishes, those she is hunting, those powerful enough, children, dogs, and other clowns are capable of seeing her.
(2:32:16 AM) lordgadigan: You get mass-panic and the town guard called on you.
(2:32:32 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: She looks like a kid with a mask?
(2:32:33 AM) lordgadigan: You're 'cornered' in a square on the way to the library by about sixty armored men and women of the guard
(2:32:48 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: "Uh, why the commotion?"
(2:33:41 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: The hair globes have ever-so-subtle depictions of hundreds of faces woven into them and her shadow is being kind of weird
(2:34:17 AM) lordgadigan: (A kid with an ominous skull mask, your hand is burning people's minds if they look at it, you've got a huge gavel, and you've got runes of power flickering around you. You're also radiating power.
"Stand down and surrender, death sorceror!"
(2:34:49 AM) lordgadigan: (That's why I was checking to see if you were in some more-normal disguise or something)
(2:34:56 AM) lordgadigan: (As is, you're *really* drawing attention in some places)
(2:35:18 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: Burning-hand is only when she's in combat, runes are only when she's in combat, radiating is only while she's being showy, and the mask is usually off. All that was on for now, though.
(2:35:26 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: She puts the flames away
(2:35:50 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: "Stood down. Not surrendering. Just taking a trip to the library; leave the little lady be."
(2:36:16 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: She looks at them with a "you really want to fight?" expression
(2:37:34 AM) lordgadigan: The guards look to one another and wait for a moment until one of the leaders make a decision. "We're going to have to insist that you enter holding until one of our superiors gives you clearance for that."

Tjormod sighs. "We really don't have time to go through procedures here." His eyes and forehead glow, and then all of the guards' eyes start glowing for a moment.

"Ah, sorry arch-librarians. I don't know what the commotion here... is? We'll be... going now." The guards walk off in a generally dazed state.
(2:38:09 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: "I don't know what all the fuss was about. I like going around dressed up."
(2:38:13 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: *sigh*
(2:38:31 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: Lili takes the mask off and puts a full-on "innocent child" look.
(2:39:34 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: They head in to the Library
(2:39:39 AM) lordgadigan: "Hah, dressed-up works in most places. This one just seems to be a bit more on-edge."
(2:40:05 AM) lordgadigan: The duo heads there and reaches it without further problems thanks to some more remote mind-editing to erase memories of the original incident from various random people
(2:40:13 AM) lordgadigan: Before they can warn other guards and cause confusion
(2:40:46 AM) lordgadigan: Tjormod says that he scans the door as being in sublevel three for holding
(2:41:04 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: "Let's head down there, then."
(2:41:05 AM) lordgadigan: Where they keep various mystic objects that the library doesn't want to destroy but also feels might be unsafe
(2:41:22 AM) lordgadigan: Are you teleporting or are you walking and just mind-hazing guards and such?
(2:41:29 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: The second
(2:41:31 AM) lordgadigan: k
(2:41:59 AM) lordgadigan: You all head down there, going through several halls, past multiple guard checkpoints, and into the holding areas, where most objects of the scale of the door are assigned their own rooms
(2:42:03 AM) lordgadigan: You get to the door room
(2:42:14 AM) lordgadigan: Which isn't specifically guarded (given all the checks on the way in)
(2:42:34 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: Ink-Red Door it is
(2:42:56 AM) lordgadigan: You head through the door, which is wooden, in a doorframe in the middle of a room, and is the appropriate color to match its name
(2:43:05 AM) lordgadigan: Processing
(2:44:27 AM) lordgadigan: You're in the Outer Feylands. The whole place is suffused with Magic and Life element mana, and the world feels vibrant. That deathland-curse is wearing off quickly here. There's a forest with wispy lights and gnarled signs to the north, a meadow of golden grass to the east, a lake of ice with a crystal palace at its center to the east, and some troll-filled mountains to the south.
(2:44:49 AM) lordgadigan: You see some beanstalks and cloud-castles in the sky
(2:44:57 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: Lili thinks this is a fine time to waste time and have some tea.
(2:45:27 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: She speed-creates a nice little table and set and asks Tjormod to find something to serve it with
(2:45:28 AM) lordgadigan: Tea it is! A talking rabbit named Mister Thomas Arrow and a flower with a face and a tophat ask to join your group
(2:45:42 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: This one catches Lili somewhat off guard.
(2:45:49 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: Assuming he's not being weird, sure
(2:45:52 AM) lordgadigan: Tjormod locates dumpling-berries and a sweetcake bush
(2:46:05 AM) lordgadigan: No, they aren't being particularly weird
(2:46:07 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: (Point: Death Curse wears off, keep things generally interesting)
(2:46:12 AM) lordgadigan: They just honed in on the nearby tea party
(2:46:17 AM) lordgadigan: The tea goes well
(2:46:24 AM) lordgadigan: And your group is now sans-curse
(2:46:46 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: Woo and suchlike
(2:47:17 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: We're heading above the Lubopdyll Forest, across the Whiteglow Sea, and into the Castle of Crawling Paintings
(2:47:29 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: Descriptions on them would be delightful
(2:47:33 AM) lordgadigan: Hah, k
(2:47:35 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: (Mid-detail)
(2:47:39 AM) lordgadigan: Processing descs
(2:55:31 AM) lordgadigan: Lubopdyll Forest is a sprawling forests where distance twists a bit (but not too much). The main pathways are lit by fairy lights, though some wisps seek to take travelers off into darker parts of the wood. At night or in times of stormy weather, lamp-flowers open up and provide light amidst the woodlands (having both small ground-based varietys and tall-drooping sorts around the height of short streetlights). The woods contain many cottages, a few villages of pixies, short-elves, gnomes (featuring a windmill!) and animal folk. Within one section of the inner forest (which you do not pass over) is a second forest of above-ground mushrooms, entirely encircled by the greater forest around it.

The Whiteglow Sea is a vast sea filled with a natural magical radiance that glows the same color as light off freshly-fallen snow, but with the sort of pattern and glow of huge groups of phospherescent plankton. Within the sea are small islands of ice, upon which flowers with white crystal blossoms grow and white haired women who inhabit the essence of the plants tend to their shimmering gardens. Beneath the sea, jellyfish-serpents and web-footed, pointed-eared fey folk with smooth, pale skin live.

The Castle of Crawling Paintings sits amidst the sand and shells upon the sea's far shore, towering, yet still looking small before the towering Cliffs of Ice and Song (which radiate music and have enormous, muticolored notes embedded in their sides). The castle itself is filled with rooms where paintings of all sorts crawl across the walls, each driven by its own pattern-spawned intelligence. Within the castle, paint-splattered chess-figures patrol, rabbit men made of wind turn into tornados of clocks, repositioning furniture and paintings frantically, almost in competition with each other, and painted giants stride imperiously, served by retinues of fawning animated furniture.
(2:56:27 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: "This place is nice."
(2:57:30 AM) lordgadigan: (Yep! The Outer Feylands are fun!)
(2:57:39 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: With her violin, Lili attempts to play one of the songs on the cliffs
(2:57:52 AM) lordgadigan: Ooh, a good idea
(2:57:56 AM) lordgadigan: Processing
(3:00:56 AM) lordgadigan: Lili plays one of the songs, and the joy of the piece is magnified by the peerless instrument, which gives Lili the ability to perform in a way the song cliffs have yet to see. She picks up some fae music stylings to boot.

Lili gets-
Remix: Fae Melody- (Technique Ability, Bard) Possessor may use 'Remix: Fae Melody' in conjunction with a 'Magical Attack' or 'Cast a Spell' action so long as no other technique is used and a Bardic Music spell is cast as part of said action. Said action gains +7,000 additional Magical Attack, has its SPI buffs increased by 700 points (as an effect that stacks a max of 7 times across all applications) and counts as coming from a source whose sole entity subtype is Fae.
'Impressed Many Musically-Inclined Fae Dweelin in the Cliffs of Ice and Song'
1 Fame
(3:01:45 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: Lili giggles an takes a solemn bow.
(3:01:57 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: "Well, that was fun. Let's go locate that painting."
(3:02:11 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: Mystery-cloaked Invisible Clown Search Gogogo
(3:02:29 AM) lordgadigan: The clown girl locates the painting without hostile encounters!
(3:04:19 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: Archdaemonic Domain: Command.

"Painting, I Bind You To This Wall. No force less than my own will move you."

She touches it with the Left Hand of Inevitability, affixing it to the wall with millions of tiny, invisible, powerful strings.
(3:04:45 AM) lordgadigan: You bind the painting of the gold-gilded flower-and-thorn-filled structure in place firmly with her divine command
(3:05:20 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: "Tjormod, I'd like to handle this upcoming dual entirely under my own power."
(3:05:50 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: Lili grins devilishly.

"I count you as part of that at the moment and will dip into it should the need arise. It'd be more fun not to have to do that though."
(3:06:26 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: Onegirl vs Lord Archenfrel of Glorian, to commence
(3:06:36 AM) lordgadigan: Tjormod nods and bows to her.
(3:06:57 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: Lili smiles happily, merges everything into Onegirl once more, and steps through the painting.
(3:07:45 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: (Just you watch. I'll have him subclassing in Butler of Awesome before next year ends.)
(3:07:52 AM) lordgadigan: Lili steps through the painting and arrives at the great golden doors of Castle Glorian, which bear a flowers-and-thorns patterns. The sky around you is shades of gold and blue, and the castle hovers within the void, thorugh which great flower-stalks and vines extend
(3:07:53 AM) lordgadigan: (Haha)
(3:07:54 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: (He already has the tea oh my)
(3:08:46 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: Lili, looking for all the world like an overdressed child, strides confidently up to the gates and knocks twice with the strength of a giant.
(3:09:21 AM) lordgadigan: The doors swing open, and flakes of gold begin fluttering through the grand hall in a manner similar to drifting sakura petals
(3:09:29 AM) lordgadigan: You sense the throneroom is straight ahead
(3:09:41 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: Lili strides confidently forward
(3:09:43 AM) lordgadigan: There are armored fae guards with blades off by the sides, but they remain in position
(3:10:48 AM) lordgadigan: Lili reaches and enters the throne room.
Lord Archenfrel of Glorian sits across it upon his golden throne and raises a goblet of twirling vines that contains a honeylike concoction as you enter.
"Welcome, traveller. I sense that you have come far to enter my home."
(3:11:22 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: "Indeed. We have a dual that is destined."
(3:13:08 AM) lordgadigan: He nods, standing and summoning his rapier, Thorne, to his hand in one step, long, vibrant brown hair flowing, light shining through the stained glass windows and onto his golden armor, solid-icy-blue eyes watching you for the first movement.
(3:13:21 AM) lordgadigan: His guards remain back
(3:13:22 AM) lordgadigan: Action?
(3:13:32 AM) lordgadigan: Also, what features of other things are you adopting as Onegirl?
(3:13:39 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: Noted above
(3:13:46 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: Oh
(3:13:48 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: Not visual
(3:15:18 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: She's donning the eats-faces (for now; she might turn that off if she comes to like the guy), the from-beyond and Ancient Power of the Thief of Light, the split-core (her hair, now under the mask) of the spheres, the seeking of the spheres.
(3:16:05 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: Also the level of the spheres (obviously)
(3:16:05 AM) lordgadigan: k
(3:16:10 AM) lordgadigan: *nod*
(3:16:15 AM) lordgadigan: Round 1! Your action?
(3:17:08 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: Lili blurs, discorperating partially. Marionettes descend from the ceiling on strings. She's setting up defenses and scanning the guy for <notably really-strong moves, overcrashes, weaknesses, level>
(3:18:36 AM) lordgadigan: Processing
(3:22:33 AM) lordgadigan: Lili moves faster than the fae lord, something he isn't used to. She manages to blur and discorperate before his lightning-fast initial sword-thrust hits, causing the attack to pass through her harmlessly. He blink-steps backwards and launches an ethereal seeking-barrage, but your scans start going off here, and you manage to multi-dodge. He spins and dices the marionettes apart, venom coursing through them up the strings towards you, but Lili, practicied in defending against such assaults, easily drops the strings before the venom-effect can reach her.

He's a fast, dodge-and-multi-strike build melee combatant. He's got light-related powers, control of flowers, bleed damage, unhealing damage, and venom. One-hit-through-the-heart-with-venom is one of his deadliest attacks, but you've got the power and health to even tank a square hit from that unless he rolls massively well and you roll terribly. No overcrashes. Light-stealing should help you a lot at blocking his self-buffs and several of his attacks. He's Level 59.
(3:22:37 AM) lordgadigan: Round 2 action?
(3:23:08 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: Light related, huh?
(3:23:19 AM) lordgadigan: Yes
(3:23:21 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: Lili adopts the Thief of Light's signature ability, Light Absorption
(3:23:25 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: /redirection
(3:26:22 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: Lili forms a claw around her hand, re-corperating in front of the guy, once more surrounded by twitching marionettes. She hefts the Gavel with one hand and grabs the strings to the marionettes with the other, burning from the Pyre. Those mind-dulling flames travel along the strings, setting the marionettes on dangerous-fire that bleeds over on contact. She then hefts the Maul and counters whatever his attack is with the JUSTICE HAMMAH!
(3:26:42 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: (Applying the on-hit debuff, disabling his most prominent dodge ability)
(3:26:48 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: Seeking lets her hit twice
(3:26:52 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: /try to hit
(3:26:53 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: Done
(3:27:49 AM) lordgadigan: "Lili forms a claw around her hand,"
A claw around your hand? Eh? Is it like a single scoop-like claw that comes from behind the hand and totally overlaps it?
(3:27:58 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: Er
(3:28:08 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: Let's go with "A Claw of Fire"
(3:28:11 AM) lordgadigan: k
(3:28:19 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: I was intended claw-hand, but that sounds more in line with what I said
(3:28:20 AM) lordgadigan: Processing
(3:28:27 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: Man that sounded wonky
(3:30:50 AM) lordgadigan: Lili re-corperates, overlaying a fire-talon on one of her hands and summoning in more marionettes. The Marionettes are lit ablaze, and Lili swings her hammer. The fae lord moves to dodge, but she slams him with the hammer, blocks his initial counter thrust, slams him again, sending him reeling across the room and locking down his blink-dodge, mass deflecing the two-hundred-hit barrage counter made of light-born copies of one of his sword-thrusts.

Round 3. Action?
(3:33:05 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: Lili immediately flash-steps behind him, raking him along the back with the claw. The moment he turns to react, she appears directly in front of him and bites the guy on the neck with sharp, sharp teeth, draining blood and power. If that sword goes for a stab and she thinks she's going to be hit with Venom at any point, she redirects her efforts towards avoiding that particular effect more than anything else.
(3:33:07 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: Done
(3:33:22 AM) lordgadigan: Processing
(3:36:20 AM) lordgadigan: Lili flash-steps behind him, and he turns into wind, managing to mostly-avoid the attack while still taking mind-damage from the wisdom-burning claw. Lili then tries to bite-drain him, but he tuck-rolls out of the way across the room. He leaps to his feet, spins around, and flings his weapon at Lili, who manages to side-duck to avoid a heart-impale (though this throw doesn't carry the venom), but she is still struck by the attack, which connects with her intangible body and reappears in the fae lord's hand before Lili's strings are able to ensnare it.

Round 4. Action?
(3:38:11 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: She bares teeth in a wild grin, then rushes him, swinging with the Gavel first (locking the venom if it hits) and following that up (seperate action via faux-unit) with the claw which she blasts away from her hand upon getting close.
(3:38:14 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: Done
(3:38:26 AM) lordgadigan: Processing
(3:40:32 AM) lordgadigan: Lili bares her teeth and launches across the room before he is able to fully react. She slams the gavel into him again, locking out the sword's poison, and then a blurred marionette-Lili overlaps her and fires off the claw, which grabs his throat and sears itself into place, streams of fire moving up from it across his face and skull to his brain. He struggles to lift his cup towards his lips, but he staggers and drops it to the ground.

Round 5. Action?
(3:42:36 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: She extends a hand, dozens of strands of power flying forth from her fingers and locking the cup down to the ground with threads of subtle fate. She then ever-so-subtle replaces the cup with a marionette (it ending up inside a different marionette).
(3:42:45 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: And she lets the fire burn at him for the round.
(3:42:53 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: (Let me know if he's about to die)
(3:43:32 AM) lordgadigan: She's replacing the cup with a marionette? Jiggaschwa? Is she using an illusion or something? Marionettes are rather obviously not cups, and Lili isn't some sort of thief-illusionist
(3:43:59 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: Actually there's not really a point to it being a full marionette. A roundish plushy.
(3:44:03 AM) lordgadigan: Maybe mystery-cloaking it so that there's an 'object' on the floor?
(3:44:08 AM) lordgadigan: k
(3:44:10 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: Basically that, yeah
(3:44:12 AM) lordgadigan: k
(3:44:28 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: She's covering it with a hard-to-get-through string coat and then replacing the thing under it with something else
(3:44:41 AM) lordgadigan: Aha, k
(3:44:44 AM) lordgadigan: So it's under strings
(3:44:47 AM) lordgadigan: That explains it
(3:44:48 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: (My tactics are kind of weird tonight I think)
(3:44:58 AM) lordgadigan: (Yeah, they sorta are. It's still working out, though)
(3:45:43 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: <Done>
(3:45:49 AM) lordgadigan: Processing
(3:46:15 AM) lordgadigan: He radiates imperious force in an attempt to back-fling you and your effects. Lili absorbs the power through her light-thievery. She pulls the switcheroo, and he completely fails at getting out of the fire-hand-grapple. He's on the verge of death.
Round 6. Action?
(3:47:31 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: Lili dismisses the hand and the fire and does what she can to clear his mind.

"I've won. You were polite and hospitable even knowing I had come to kill you. I was told I must defeat you, not that you must die. Surrender and I will spare your life."
(3:49:36 AM) lordgadigan: The fire is dismissed and Lili extends her offer, clearing the fae lord's mind.
He thanks her for her magnaniminity and accepts her mercy, admitting that she has fully bested him in combat.
Lili gets 'Defeated Lord Archenfrel of Glorian in Combat'
'Possesses Leave to Use Castle Glorian as a Waypoint'
150 times the XP of a Level 59 entity.
2 Fame
(3:50:49 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: Lili laughs and curtsies. "I wasn't really playing fair anyway. Higher level and vastly overgeared isn't an even playing field. Maybe I'll come back and duel you on even terms one day."
(3:51:18 AM) lordgadigan: He says he would be interested in dueling you again under those conditions if you wish such
(3:51:30 AM) lordgadigan: Heading back to Nexus and calling this here for the thread?
(3:52:30 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: To Tjormod: <Mercy is a luxury of the strong. Let's head back, this was a productive day. Thanks for keeping a fight from breaking out back at the library; I detest dirtying my hands with the blood of mortals who have done me no real wrong."
(3:52:35 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: I think so
(3:53:13 AM) lordgadigan: Tjormod is pleased to hear this, and the two of you depart!
(3:53:18 AM) lordgadigan: I'll post this
(3:53:21 AM) lordgadigan: Lili is free again
(3:53:36 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: Hah, thanks.
(3:53:40 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: I think that was good progress
(3:53:50 AM) Wriggle NIghtsparrow: And that this has good odds of getting done with a few more of those

Within the castle, paint-splattered chess-figures patrol, rabbit men made of wind turn into tornados of clocks, repositioning furniture and paintings frantically, almost in competition with each other, and painted giants stride imperiously, served by retinues of fawning animated furniture."

The woods contain many cottages, a few villages of pixies, short-elves, gnomes (featuring a windmill!) and animal folk. ->->->->->Yaz-Gohlan Reference Link
"It's a city of small-to-medium-sized buildings of varying sorts of construction (most looking vaguely-technical but made using scrap parts or sorta-holmely and coastal, but with a few oddball sections, like the part with all the low domes or the section with the buildings carved of pink conches. ->->->Unknown Alternate-Mechanics Dimension

->->->->Erstokrys, Land of Seven Seas Reference Link
Strange world running off Strategy-RPG-like mechanics. Many things here are lower (or higher) level than expected, the ruling God-Kings pulling the levels of their units up to a certain benchmark. Entering a contract with one of the God-Kings binds you to the world until you die or one of the God-Kings becomes the sole ruler of the era. 'Turns' in this world take long periods of time, generally measured in seasons.

You get a second view of the world in the form of a top-down map of provinces you are aware of, each marked with what information you have on it (presently little due to lack-of-scan). Movement and action timing here is odd and divided into events and turns. You're operating on the 'neutral units turn', presently. Everyone else with you is marked under you as part of your 'unit'."

->->->->->Province of Rul-Matiik Reference Link
Unclaimed province.

The dimension Omvol Ghyr is in has a formatting error where there's spare tags next to it.
I think I'd like the parenthetical about Kaiba taken out of the official description of Dross City; that was more something I stuck in there to give Wriggle a visual reference-point without going into mass-detail on the world. I'm just sorta leery of comparison-things like that making it into the officialized parts of the PPT threads.

The Sky Titan (2) is a Humanoid.
The Twelve-Eyed Things are Level 28 Aliens.

After that stuff, the PPT is approved.
