This is, clearly, unacceptable. The gang all want to spring for the (oddly misspelled) Tsayikkproofing abilities Bascaradine have been selling previously. If an entity would take Stat Damage to a stat it does not possess, it may instead take five times that amount (with caps not applying to this multiplier) to its lowest stat that it actually possesses. This extra, uncapped stat damage may not be converted to any other type of stat damage by anything that does not specifically convert uncapped stat damage resultant from stat damage having been dealt to a stat it does not possess.
Rosaline and Volatilis (buying for its Yeti-skillset) want to get:
Bascaradine Tsayyikproofing- (Passive Ability, Roboticist) Possessor may use CON in place of SAN, INF, and RES and may choose to take CON Damage instead of SAN Damage, INF Damage, or RES Damage
Cael and Caelum want to get:
Bascaradine Soulsculpture-Variant Tsayyikproofing- (Passive Ability, Controller) Possessor may use SPI in place of SAN, INF, and RES and may choose to take SPI Damage instead of SAN Damage, INF Damage, or RES Damage
There's a further sticking point there, however- if something were to attack more than one of SAN, INF and/or RES, even with the Tsayikkproofing they'd still be hit multiple times on the same stat, which is something of a problem. They'd like something to mitigate that.
Finally, the problem further increases due to the lack of clarity about what happens if one were to gain a debuff to a stat one doesn't possess. Ideally, it wouldn't do anything. Otherwise, that's a sure shot to being instantly killed by even the most minor debuff thrown their way, which is a Very Big Problem. (And likely a quick route to some very short and boring fights in the Arena against very powerful monsters)
If that is the case, they'd like to get something that can mitigate that, too.
