Is there a defensive ability to mitigate that- either by overwhelming such procs against specific subtypes with all the other subtypes he is instead, or drowning out/diluting things with all of the other subtypes?

The prerequisite abilities Defenses that Utilize Not Bees and Radiate Not Bees don't exist. Assuming they're meant to be templatable-alikes, Radiate Not Bees should probably be Emanate Not Bees. I've altered the template above as such if that is the case.
The prerequisites that those would have (also assuming Radiate is supposed to be Emanate), Basic Defenses against Not Bees, Basic Weaponization of Not Bees, Absorb Not Bees, Not Bees Manipulation, Not Bees Immunity, Improved Not Bees Resistance, Apprentice Not Bees Resistance and Basic Not Bees Resistance also don't exist. Again, Not Bees was specifically mentioned as being weird and not getting the usual template-abilities, though, so some or all of this may intentionally not exist.
Basically, it's a weird situation all round, but Not Bees is weird anyway.
